Crispy Airfryer Tofu
Ingredients
- 1/2 block extra firm tofu (8 oz)
- 1 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tsp ea garlic powder, onion powder, paprika
- 2 tbsp corn starch
- 1 tbsp oil
(It’s a pretty vibey recipe, the ratios are very tolerant, and I usually just eyeball)
Recipe
- Cut the tofu into small cubes, 1” or smaller. They’ll be crunchier the smaller they are, but may break easily.
- Dry the tofu cubes with a paper towel, squeezing to get out moisture. Toss in soy sauce
- Mix together the dry ingredients, and then sprinkle over tofu and toss
- Coat the tofu in oil
- Air fry for 10-15 min at 400F
Notes
- Great tossed in a sauce after frying. Around ~4-6 tbsp of sauce for the above amount of tofu. Some that I’ve liked:
- Pesto + parmesan
- 2 parts store-bought asian chili dipping sauce to 1 part sambal olek
