Creamed Spinach
Ingredients
- 3 (10 ounce) bags clean fresh spinach, roughly chopped
- 4 tbsp butter (1/2 a stick)
- 4 slices provolone cheese - torn into large pieces
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese (or just vibes it)
- salt, pepper, MSG to taste
Recipe
- Chop the spinach, and cook down. Best in a big pot, and it’s fine to leave the cooked down spinach in as you add more spinach.
- Move cooked down spinach to a colander, and squeeze out all remaining water
- Melt butter, and fry onion & garlic in it for a couple minutes in the original pot
- Add spinach & heavy cream, followed by the provolone & parmesan
- After the cheeses are mixed in, let it cook a bit more to thicken & season to taste.
