Creamed Spinach

Ingredients

  • 3 (10 ounce) bags clean fresh spinach, roughly chopped
  • 4 tbsp butter (1/2 a stick)
  • 3 tbsp minced onion
  • 2 tbsp minced garlic
  • 1 1/4 cups heavy cream
  • 4 slices provolone cheese - torn into large pieces
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese (or just vibes it)
  • salt, pepper, MSG to taste

Recipe

  • Chop the spinach, and cook down. Best in a big pot, and it’s fine to leave the cooked down spinach in as you add more spinach.
  • Move cooked down spinach to a colander, and squeeze out all remaining water
  • Melt butter, and fry onion & garlic in it for a couple minutes in the original pot
  • Add spinach & heavy cream, followed by the provolone & parmesan
  • After the cheeses are mixed in, let it cook a bit more to thicken & season to taste.
