Venkorade
V0 (its just sugar)
- 1 scoop Gatorade powder (fruit punch
- 1 packet Emergen-C (Amazon)
V1
(Based on 12x Ketoade recipe + the above recipe)
- 2 tbsp table salt
- 1/2 tbsp Nusalt (Amazon)
- 6 scoops Magnesium Citrate (Amazon)
- 12 scoops Gatorade powder (fruit punch)
- 12 sachets Emergen-C (Amazon)
1/12th of this contains:
- 1000mg sodium, 300mg potasisum, 100mg magnesium (much like the Ketoade recipe, similar to LMNT, Keto Chow, and other electrolyte drinks)
- 115 calories via ~30g of sugar (from Vitamin C + Gatorade)
- 1000 mg Vitamin C
It’s ultimately much more palatable than Ketoade.
1/12th the batch is ~30g, or about 2.5 tbsp. I often in practice make it weaker (~1 tbsp per bottle of water).
V2
Reduces potassium + sodium, adds l-theanine.
Still makes 12 batches.
- 1 tbsp table salt
- 3/4 tsp Nusalt (Amazon)
- 6 scoops Magnesium Citrate (Amazon)
- 12* scoops Gatorade powder (lemon lime)
- 12 sachets Emergen-C (Amazon)
- 6 scoops L-Theanine (Amazon)
The 12 scoops of Gatorade was necessary in V1, to mask the taste of sodium + potassium, but this version can be modified to use only 6-scoops of Gatorade fine. Note, that since Gatorade is ~most of the bulk of this mix (ie: 23g of a 30g serving), if you halve the gatorade amount, you’ll need to use much smaller scoops - and just get a less flavored drink.
