Score chicken, mix with all ingredients, marinate in the fridge for at least 8h, upto 2 days
Broil at high for ~10 minutes on the first side, and then ~6-8 minutes on the other side, until moderately charred.
Notes
This is very similar to my Tandoori Chicken & Pesto Chicken recipes - it uses the same (boneless thighs, yogurt, ginger-garlic, lemon juice) base, but imo is worse rn.
I think it’s currently a little underspiced or feels less savory than I’d expect. I’ve been looking for changes, potentially considering: a) adding fresh minced garlic, b) finding a better source of five-spice, c) adding sichuan pepper powder, d) perhaps just upping spice quantities
